The Post-graduate Certificate in Public Administration (CPA) programme opened in GIMPA today, 30th September 2019.
The 8-week long course is designed for both public and private sector institutions.
A total of 23 participants from various public sector institutions across the country are being trained in this session.
Opening it, the Head of the School of Public Service and Governance (SPSG), Dr. Lord Mawuko Yevugah said the objective of the programme was to especially train public sector officials in public administration to help strengthen their capacity in areas such as formulation of public policies, financial budgeting, and public communication.
He was optimistic that at the end of the programme, the participants would have a better understanding of the values of public administration and acquire additional skills to help them in their core duties.
Also present at the ceremony was the Senior Assistant Registrar, Mr. Kwabena Amoah.
