The matriculation ceremony for students of the Public Sector Management Training Programme (PSMTP) has taken place at GIMPA.
The ceremony, which was the 14th cohort, saw a total of 27 students from Ghana, The Gambia and Liberia being admitted to pursue the one-year intensive programme. The PSMTP programme is a sub-regional programme hosted by GIMPA with the support of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF).
It is designed to provide participants who are senior and middle level managers with practical experiences in public sector management and skills for efficient and effective management of Public Sector organisations.
The main goal is to enhance the performance of the Public Sector through the provision of a balanced, academic and professional training in public sector management in Africa.
The Deputy Rector of the Institute, Prof. Philip Duku Osei gave the welcome address on behalf of the Rector.
