Andrews Addo Dankwa, A Staff of the GIMPA House Keeping Department Graduates with A First Class Degree


Andrew Addo Dankwa gained employment as a Housing-Keeping Staff (Accommodation Unit) at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration after his Secondary education, where he worked assiduously from August 2008 to the present.

In the year 2014, he applied for admission in to read Bachelor of Science in Public Administration at GIMPA.

The decision to study while working in the same institution came with some challenges and mixed opinions from different quarters of the Accommodation Unit but was finally given the nod by his employers.

Andrew was among the few students who graduated with a first class degree honours in the just ended 18th congregation

The Bachelor of Science in Public Administration is a four-year undergraduate programme which aims to develop policy leaders. The programme prepares students for careers in the Public, non-state and the private sectors.

Students who undertake the programme are equipped with skills in policy coordination, responsiveness, knowledge and attitude required by administrators and chief executives to effectively meet the leadership, management and administrative challenges facing the global environment.
